Spice Up Your Life!
I was called to be the Ward Camp Director recently and for some reason it has made me reminisce about my own high school/college days.
This whole working full-time and being a big kid thing is a drag...I still have the below sunglasses and they are coming back baby!
Now for pranks...we need lots of good ideas...post if you did or know of AWESOME (I mean legendary) girl's camp pranks...these posts are not for lightweights ;) JK
I remember two of the older girls decided to sleep naked in their sleeping bag one night (DISCLAIMER- I do not recommend this form of rebellion - its just weird). They got caught and had to do a dance of shame in front of all of camp as punishment...
It's on!

BOOKS!
A friend at work told me that many of the Border's in Atlanta were closing. On our way back from the beloved Costco on Saturday, we saw the sign "Store Closing, Everything on Sale" on our local Border's storefront. We took an IMMEDIATE turn into the store.
WE HIT THE GOLDMINE
Chad and I had budgeted $10 a month for books this year (a hobby I live for, and one Chad is beginning to get into).
Below are the treasures we left with (we might have spent our entire year's budget, but hey, it will take us a year to read them all).
All of the Narnia Stories
All of the Jane Austen Books
A Tale of Two Cities
The Alchemist
WICKED
Eclipse :)
1776
The Millionaire Next Door
Principles Centered Leadership
Ender's Game
Ender's Shadow
I need your help - What should we read first? Have you read any of these? Do you love or hate any?
We are very excited :)

Debt FREE!!!!
Chad and I started paying off our debt (student loans, first car) the week after I started working.
I am so excited to say that today, February 16, 2011, we are DEBT FREE!!!
I feel like I should go spend some money ;) Just kidding...

quack, quaCK, quACk, QUACK!!!!
No, this is not a post about my undying love for Charlie in the Mighty Ducks, despite the fact that we was my childhood sweetheart (or so I wished).
Last week I made Duck cupcakes for a coworkers Baby Luncheon.
They do not look as good as the ones in the book, BUT I think they are still pretty cute :)

December 2010
Chad and I had a really fun Christmas this year.
Below are some pictures to enjoy!
Our tree - Fake and beautiful!
Homemade stockings
Chad's $10 limit stocking "stuffers"
Danielle's $10 limit stocking "stuffers"
It is a tradition in our family to make Dolma (an Armenian dish) during the holidays, so I made it alone here in GA. I actually don't like it at all, but I wanted to keep the tradition going, so I made it. Funny though that I have note even eaten one of them yet :)
Chad got a "Fuzzy Wuzzy" in the white elephant exchange this year. Needless to say, it is comfortable!
I cut my hair. 5 inches.
Hope 2011 is as good as 2010 was.

Mary and Joseph
Chad and I were volunteered to be Mary and Joseph at this year's Primary Christmas party. We had NOTHING to wear. We don't even own robes. So, I decided to make the costumes.
This would normally be a great idea, except that I have been working long hours at work and Chad and I had accepted way too many Christmas "get-together" invitations (which by the way was TOTALLY worth it - December was a BLAST!).
I basically left ALL of the work until the Friday before (the party was on Saturday at 1). I sewed all Friday, as it was an off-Friday at Lockheed, and Saturday morning until 12 PM - Yes, I finished 1 hour before the party...).
Nonetheless, I think they turned out pretty good.
This is us looking at the fake baby Jesus.
