Chad Gradu-mated

Chad graduated! I am so proud of his hard work! His father and my parents flew in to see him walk. It was an awesome weekend and we are sad to leave BYU!

Here are some pictures of the wonderful occasion.

BachelorETTE Lovin'

My good friend Laura Howald came over on Saturday morning and helped me make a cake for my friend Simone Seymour's Bachelorette Party.
I have to say...we ROCK!

**Note - don't show co-workers this picture at work...the next day you may be enrolled for Sexual Harrassment lessons.

There is a funny story behind this statement. Last friday I was showing my two co-workers the cake that I was going to make over the weekend. These two co-workers are WOMEN. Well they were laughing and exclaiming how funny it was that it attracted two other friends over to my cubicle. I told them not to come as they were men and we were at WORK but they ran up to my computer before I could close it. They were mildly embarrassed but more wanted to give me a hard time for showing "porn" at work.

Monday (today) the whole office was enrolled in "Sexual Harrassment" training. The compliance officer lives in New Jersey and had no idea about this funny incident, but my supervisor could not stop laughing, saying over and over that the training was very "timely."
Learned my lesson, but at least we all were smiling for a day :)

Chad made roast. I made Sour Cream Potatoes.
We watched prophets and apostles of Jesus Christ.
It was perfect!

We all scream for SUSHI

Last weekend Chad and I made homemade Sushi. It was really fun and pretty simple. There are a few kinks that we need to work out for next time, but overall it was fun and yummy!

Under Armour

This week Chad was offered an awesome opportunity!

This whole year his Capstone group has been working on developing new football pads to disperse impact and decrease injuries. By the end of the semester they plan on having a complete prototype and a PATENT for the technology.

His sponsor wants 3-4 prototypes to send to companies, including UNDER ARMOUR, to sell the technology, so Chad and the rest of his team were offered jobs to continue the development after graduation through June!

He is so excited because it is perfect timing and he won't be bored before he starts OLDP in July!

I am also happy because I was really annoyed/jealous/bummed Chad would sleep in for 8 weeks as I continued to work. Too bad he can't now :)
